A readable look inside
Before you leave
the doctor’s office.
Bring the checklist to an appointment. Use it to ask questions, note changes, and record what needs to happen next—before you head home.
Selected questions from the Doctor Visit Checklist, presented here for easy reading.
Caregiver Command Center™
Questions to ask before leaving
- What diagnosis or concern are we addressing today?
- Were any medications started, stopped, or changed? Why?
- Who do we call after hours?
- Are labs, imaging, referrals, or follow-up appointments needed?
- When should we expect results, and how will we receive them?
Before you leave, repeat back what you think you heard. “So just to confirm…” can catch misunderstandings before they become a crisis at home.

the sacred work of caregiving.
Caregiving often unfolds in places no one else sees: quiet hallways late at night, exhausted prayers, and moments when love means showing up again—even when your strength feels thin.
Through heartfelt stories drawn from real caregiving, Scripture, and reflection, this book offers companionship for the emotional and spiritual weight you carry.
God is not waiting at the end of the journey—He is present right in the middle of it.

I sit here weeping because just reading the first page of “Word to the Caregiver” so deeply spoke to me.
I felt so alone for years despite family support around me.
A note from the caregiver behind CaregiverHQ

Hello, I’m Debi.
I created CaregiverHQ out of the everyday experience of caring for both of my aging parents: hospital stays, appointments, medication changes, insurance questions, and the details that don’t stop coming.
The Caregiver Command Center grew from the need to keep that information together. God in the Hallway grew from the quieter part of the same journey—the moments that call for faith, courage, and a reminder that we are not alone.
My hope is to offer something useful for your hands and something encouraging for your heart.
With understanding, Debi
A few things you may be wondering
Let’s make this part simple.
Clear details, so you can choose the resource that fits your needs.

Will a printed workbook arrive in the mail?
The current Essential Edition Etsy listing is a digital download. It includes a printable PDF, fillable PDF, editable Excel workbook, and a getting-started guide. No physical workbook is shipped. You can print the PDF pages for your own caregiving binder.
How do I receive the workbook files?
Etsy makes the download available after payment is confirmed. The listing includes one ZIP containing the workbook formats and getting-started guide. Follow the download instructions in your Etsy purchase.
